James A. Key Jr., ESQ, has many areas of expertise which include:

He has served as a Municipal Court Judge for the City of Plainfield from 1998 through 2005. Before serving in Plainfield, he was also a Municipal Court Judge in the Borough of Roselle. He has also served as the Chief Municipal Prosecutor for the City of Perth Amboy, New Jersey. He served as an Assistant Prosecutor for Bergen County, New Jersey, and was a member of The Committee on Character of New Jersey Supreme Court. 

                             

James A. Key, Jr., graduated from West Side High School in Newark, New Jersey, received a B.A. Degree in Sociology from Bloomfield College achieved his Juris Doctorate from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey School of Law, and joined the New Jersey Bar in 1974.

 

Additionally, Mr. Key served for many years as a member of the Zoning Board of Edison Township.

 

He is a member of the National Employment Law Association - New Jersey Affiliate - (NELA-NJ). He is a past recipient of the New Jersey Minority Achiever Award from the YMCA of New Jersey in recognition of his professional accomplishments and community involvement.
